Hi! I’m Caleb Sowle

pronounced: /sōl/ (“sole”)

Upon receiving a filmmaking degree, I started shooting wedding films right away. Since then, I’ve captured over 120 weddings and developed my personal style (more about that below). The more I get to experiment within the wedding film world, the more exciting it becomes.

My newest film is always my favorite, because my skills and tastes are constantly evolving.

We believe strongly in a natural style of filmmaking, making the most of the hand we’re dealt by leaning into the environment and stripping away any extraneous aspects.

Day of, this looks like using natural light; shooting through and around things like tree branches, buildings, and wine glasses; encouraging instinctual movement among couples and not forcing anything; being ready for spontaneous moments like big laughs or sneaky kisses; and extracting the story from the day instead of projecting one on to it.

Our films are built on candid moments, because the point of a film like this is to immerse you back into that special juncture in your life. We will hardly ever ask you to look at the camera. This is not picture day. This is a movie about your life.
